The BA Digital Humanities & Information Technology, UCC is currently looking for industry partners, who will offer paid 9-12 month internships to its students. This new, innovative degree is co-delivered between the Computer Science Department and the College of Arts and students are uniquely balanced across the two areas – information technology and the arts and humanities. Students study modules in Programming, Multimedia, Digital Tools and Methodologies, Computer Animation and Digital Media, among others and are well-positioned to take up a range of I.T. roles with a skillset that encompasses: web design, research, I.T., data analytics, digital media, database creation and creative content creation. The Work Placement Manager is currently advertising opportunities to students, who will be available for placement from May/June 2017.
