it@cork are delighted to announce our next Diversity in Tech event.
On June 7th we will be running an event with a difference! – Jonathan Healy, Healy Communications will chair a panel discussion, covering a range of topics including female board participation, diversity at senior management level, perceived barriers to advancement, and company in-house inclusion programmes that are making a real difference.
The panel will be comprised of Carol Andrews (MD & Head of EMEA service delivery BNY Mellon and founder of the 30% club in Ireland) and Karen Egan (VP GS NSX support, VMware).
We expect this to be a very lively and engaging event, with plenty of time for Q&A and attendee participation.

She began her career at VMware in 2007 as a Manager within Technical Support and over the past 10.5 years has held many positions including, Sr. Director for the EMEA Technical Support and now Vice President of both NSX Support and Customer Escalations.
Awards: VMware Global Support Person of the Year 2014 and also International Leader of the Year at the 2015 FDM Everywoman in Technology Awards.
Carol joined The Bank of New York in 2006 with the acquisition associated with the Allied Irish Bank/Bank of New York joint venture. She was seconded to the Brussels office to manage the integration of AIB onto the BNY platforms and has additionally spent time working for the company in New York.
Carol is the Country lead, founder and steering committee member of the 30% Club, an organization aimed at achieving better gender balance at all levels in leading Irish businesses. Carol serves as CEO of BNY Mellon Fund Services (Ireland) DAC and as a Director of BNY Mellon (Poland) SP Z.O.O. Carol is a graduate of the Women’s Leadership Forum, a Harvard Business School leadership development programme.
