| Details: | The changes in the way we consume media and live our lives has a fundamental effect on how we do business in the world today.
Why should I wear jeans or a suit to work these days? The changing landscape of business to business networking presents an opportunity and a dilemma as the blur between the social and business networks grows. Do I meet my customers and colleagues on Facebook or is it all about the vertical blogs? A discussion on where we are now and what's to come! Is it about the FT, FHM or poking someone? What are the implications then to the communications needed to get to our target audiences? Does anyone consume 'old school' direct mail or advertising anymore or are we better off creating viral campaigns and posting to youtube? The changing role of the CMO in this new digital world presents a unique opportunity for those businesses and individuals leading the way. What about the guys who still have (shock horror!) actual shops! But it's not all digital! How do we get the Web 2.0 to the customers in the offline world? There are a host of opportunities that will exist for the ISV/SaaS community to now access and target specific industry and vertical sectors with new business models - what partners are the ones to go to market with? How do we get the offline into the online and what business models are needed? As director of BT Business Online, Jennifer is responsible for the online strategy and planning for BT Business products and services on BT.com and other related business projects and platforms such as BT Tradespace. Focusing on the small to medium enterprise market, the aim of the online team is to deliver a fully automated platform providing all products and services offered to BT Business customers from a pre-sales environment through to in-life management using web 2.0 and multi-channel tools where best deployed. In the past Jennifer has worked with some of the leading UK online brands such as eBay, Amazon and Yahoo! Europe. « Back to event |
