it@cork events - Business uses of RSS

Business Uses of RSS, March 27th, 6pm

The event, entitled "Business uses of RSS" is a follow-up to the extremely successful "RSS for non-techies" event (http://blog.itcork.ie/rss-for-non-techies-event/) which we ran in October.

Fergus burns of Nooked (www.nooked.com) is going to speak about how to set up RSS feeds for your business. John Dunne of the CSO (www.cso.ie) is going to outline how the CSO are utilising RSS to distribute their information - not only to human readers but also to large governmental databases so the databases always have the most recent statistics; and Rob Burke and Dave Northey are going to demonstrate how Microsoft (www.microsoft.com/ireland/) are making RSS consumption easier and more ubiquitous with Office 12 and Windows Vista.

The event starts promptly at 6pm with registrations at 5:30pm

Attendance is free to members and €20 for non-members.

Please email admin@itcork.ie if you have any queries.

The event is proudly sponsored by the CSO.
