FIT needs your support – tackling unemployment in Munster together

FIT Ltd (Fastrack into IT) is a not for profit organisation committed to the integration of marginalised job seekers into the workforce through the acquisition of marketable ICT skills.

The key to FIT's success is the way in which FIT has engaged employers in the personal and professional development of students. The participating companies have helped FIT to define the IT needs of industry with tailored curricula. They then support the training process by providing constructive internships or placements to selected trainees.

Currently we are working with a number of colleges in the Cork area and running full time IT and business related courses due to commence in September 2009.

Our goal is to develop relationships with major businesses in the Cork area with a view to future partnership, we would like companies to participate in company visits, mock interviews, work experience and internships.
