News - Mr. China, Liam Casey & Dr. Ed Walsh to speak at this year's Annual Conference on Nov 18

The conference will be opened by 'Mr. China' Liam Casey, CEO & founder of PCH Intl. Liam will speak on 'New Opportunities in the Global Economy'. PCH International is a Shenzhen China based supply chain management company focused on the consumer electronics, personal computers, medical devices and telecommunications industries. Liam, a Corkman, was the winner of the 2007 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
Dr. Ed Walsh will close this year's event with his talk entitled 'Recovery Through Competitivness'. Dr. Walsh is the founding president of the University of Limerick, the first new university established by the Republic of Ireland: a post from which he retired in l998, after a 28-year term. He served as founding chairman of the Irish Council for Science Technology and Innovation, the National Technological Park, the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment, and the National Self Portrait Collection of Ireland. He has also served as chairman of the Conference of Heads of Irish Universities and of Shannon Development.
