Work Matters- Workplace For All- Breakfast Seminar
Diversity in the workplace refers to the variety of differences between people in an organisation. The inclusion of people with disabilities in the workforce remains a constant challenge.
Intreo, the employment and income supports service from the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection, is hosting a breakfast seminar on Tuesday 23 October 2018 at the Kingsley Hotel, Cork, to discuss how organisations can address this matter. You will find information on the wide range of financial and other supports available and how to access a labour force of untapped potential.
The keynote speaker will be Paralympian, John Twomey who has competed in 11 Paralympic Games.
This will be followed by a panel discussion with contributions from employers which will include, the Fota Collection, Kearys Motor Group, Boston Scientific and Hays who will give practical examples of the benefits of an inclusive workplace culture.
There will also be information on the range of financial supports available from our Department to facilitate greater diversity in the workplace.
