Description:
The technical training programme of the year will be presented to a company that has implemented a proactive, multi-faceted approach to training/upskilling – whether to a significant target group or enterprise-wide-they can show the direct business impact and performance improvement for the company. Entrants will be asked to demonstrate why workforce development and training is important to the organisation, how training needs and skills requirements are assessed and the direct benefit enjoyed by both the individuals and the organisation.
Criteria
- Effective needs analysis and verification
- Evidence of innovation
- Evidence of how the business has communicated with it’s whole team, provided resources and acted upon suggestions
- Evidence of investment in training
- Evidence of sustained impact on overall performance of staff within the enterprise or the community that the enterprise operates in
