it@cork Skillnet is fully supportive of the Government’s efforts to effectively address and limit the spread of COVID-19 and to safeguard the protection of public health and that of our stakeholders.
it@cork Skillnet management team are continuing to work and are available to discuss any queries that our businesses or trainees have regarding our scheduled training programmes and supports for businesses.
In support of this national effort, it@cork Skillnet has postponed any public training courses until after 29th March 2020. We will continue to work with our member companies to organise training requests from April 2020 onwards.
At present we are working towards alternate (online/remote) delivery methods for a number of programmes and we will share these options with you on it@cork skillnet website as they become available. We have already had a planned face-to-face course delivered remotely by Zoom this week, which was very successful.
And we are stepping up our partnership with Immersive Labs to offer our members gamified, on-line materials for cyber security. More detail on this will be posted on our website soon.
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with any training requirements and queries you may have. Together we will be able to come up with innovative solutions.
